Family Therapy
Families are complex systems, and when one member struggles, the entire unit feels the impact. My approach to family therapy is deeply systemic, emphasizing unhelpful dynamics that have led to conflict or pain and are keeping you stuck; I believe that meaningful change occurs when we examine the attachment histories, patterns, communication cycles, and attachment dynamics that connect you to one another.
Who This Is For
Family therapy is a space for any family navigating significant shifts, including:
-
Navigating Life Transitions: Adjusting to changes in family structure, relocation, or new developmental stages.
-
Addressing Relational Strain: Repairing ruptures caused by miscommunication, unresolved conflict, or historical wounds.
-
Collaborative Relationships: Supporting parents and children (including adult children) in developing clearer, more responsive and respectful communication styles.
What We Will Explore: A Cohesive Approach to Healing
You will find that my approach to family work is consistent with the evidence-based methods I use in individual and couples therapy. By integrating Family Systems Theory with Emotionally-Focused (EFT) and CBT-based techniques, I help families move away from blame and toward collaborative understanding.

Why Choose This Path?
My goal is to help you move from a state of reactive stress to one of intentional connection. By working together in a systemic framework, we can unlock the unique strengths already present in your family, transforming your challenges into opportunities to grow closer and more secure as a unit.
